1. Overview

GhostRMM ("GhostRMM," "we," "us," or "our") provides a remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform for IT teams and managed service providers. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit ghostrmm.net (the "Site"), use the GhostRMM platform, or communicate with us — including by phone, email, or SMS/text message.

By using the Site or the GhostRMM platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you provide directly — such as your name, company name, email address, phone number, and any message content when you fill out a contact or demo request form, sign up for an account, or otherwise communicate with us.
• Account and platform data — login credentials, user roles, and configuration settings associated with your GhostRMM account.
• Device and telemetry data — for customers using the GhostRMM platform, our monitoring agent collects technical data from managed endpoints (e.g., device name, hardware and software inventory, performance metrics, patch status, and alert events) necessary to provide the monitoring and management service.
• Usage data — information about how you interact with the Site and platform, such as pages visited, browser type, IP address, and timestamps, collected automatically through server logs and cookies.
• Communications data — records of your correspondence with us, including support requests, emails, and SMS/text messages (see Section 4 below).

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the GhostRMM platform and the Site;
• Respond to inquiries, provide customer support, and schedule demos;
• Send service-related communications, including alerts, account notices, and, where you've consented, SMS text messages;
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the security and performance of our services;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service; and
• With your consent, send marketing or promotional communications, which you may opt out of at any time.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

4.1 Consent / Opt-In

By providing your mobile phone number through a GhostRMM web form, verbally, or by another method and checking a box or otherwise affirmatively opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from GhostRMM at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service, unless a specific alert or notification type requires SMS delivery by its nature (for example, critical device-down alerts you have configured to be delivered by text).

4.2 Types of Messages

Depending on what you sign up for, GhostRMM may send:

• Platform alerts — device-down, security, or threshold alerts you've configured to be delivered by SMS;
• Account & support notices — appointment/demo reminders, verification codes, and responses to support requests; and
• Promotional messages — product updates or offers, sent only if you separately opt in to marketing texts.

4.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and alert configuration. For platform alerts, frequency depends on the number and type of alert rules you set up. For account/support notices, you will typically receive messages only in response to specific actions or requests.

4.4 Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Carrier fees for SMS/MMS messages depend on your mobile carrier and plan. GhostRMM does not charge for text messages, but your carrier's standard messaging rates apply.

4.5 How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS/text messages from GhostRMM at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send "STOP," we will send you a one-time confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program. You may continue to receive messages for a short period while your request is processed. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 12 below. Opting out of SMS messages does not opt you out of other communication channels (such as email) unless you separately request that.

4.7 Supported Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. GhostRMM's SMS program is intended to work with major U.S. mobile carriers; coverage and reliability may vary by carrier and device.

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and support basic functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, SMS/email delivery, and customer support tools, under contractual obligations to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us;
• Legal and safety purposes, where required to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of GhostRMM, our users, or others; and
• Business transfers, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

As noted in Section 4.8, SMS opt-in consent and mobile phone numbers collected for text messaging are never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Opt-out requests for SMS communications are retained to honor your preference going forward.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

10. Children's Privacy

GhostRMM is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
